1&1 Internet's MyWebsite Customers Receive Act! Cloud Web App

1&1 Internet's MyWebsite customers have received an Act! Cloud data sharing web app courtesy of Swiftpage, the people behind the contact and customer relationship management (CRM) solution. The new app is built into 1&1's platform and is available within the 1&1 MyWebsite Web app catalog. It enables small businesses to "capture new information about their website visitors to grow their contact list" as well as gather data with which marketing and selling activities can be based.
Established in 1988, 1&1 Internet is an arm of German company United Internet. With data centers in Europe and the United States, the company is recognized as being one of the world's largest hosts. The addition of the Act! Cloud app will enable the company's customer to manage a range of functions including emarketing. The system has a range of features including highlighting which contacts are the most interested in a company's products and services based on their response to email campaigns.
The system automatically updates contact records or creates new contacts, and users can schedule activities based on this information. The app is currently available to 1&1 Internet's customers in Germany, Spain and Italy and available shortly to customers in the United States, United Kingdom, France and Canada.
