Adam Selipsky Joins Data Visualization Company Tableau
Adam Selipsky has joined data visualization company Tableau Software (Tableau). Tableau, which has headquarters in Seattle, Washington, United States, offers a “revolutionary” approach to business intelligence which requires no programming skills and enables users to visualize and share data with colleagues, partners, or customers through easy-to-setup dashboards. Mr. Selipsky joins the company as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Mr. Selipsky is an industry veteran who at present is Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he has worked for more than ten years. Prior to AWS he held an executive position at the media player division of RealNetworks. He joins the company as the replacement for Christian Chabot, a cofounder of Tableau. Mr. Chabot becomes the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Tableau. Tableau has been enjoying significant success with the cloud-based version of its software and Mr. Selipsky will be responsible for taking the company’s cloud-based offerings “to the next level”.
