January, 2005-- AIT is aiming to make picking a host easier by releaseing a new test drive program – users can try out one of several hosting plans free for 30 days.
“A month should be enough time for users to make an honest assessment of the stability of AIT’s network, the value of our products and services, and the commitment of the customer support teams,” said Clarence Briggs, AIT’s Chief Executive. “It puts our marketing message to the most exacting test, the reality test.” And, a free month of hosting means just that; there is no upfront setup fee or other payment, and no fine print.
The trial offer applies to two of AIT’s end-user business plans and its mid-level reseller package, and both new and existing customers can participate. “Someone hosting their own site may want to test the waters as a reseller, for instance, and this is a no-risk way of doing that,” according to Kirk deViere, the company’s Chief Operating Officer. “Or, someone using another provider can try out AIT without compromising their current site.”
As the technology behind hosting has matured, so have its users, and customers have a clear idea of the type features and services their particular business requires. In addition to testing AIT’s capabilities, this offer gives them the opportunity to determine if their current plan suits their particular business. The accounts include all of their advertised features; nothing has been watered down so customers are exposed to the whole AIT experience.
