AIT Partners with Kanoodle Offers affordable pay-per-click advertising

March 15, 2004
AIT, Inc (http://ait.com) is helping its customers reach new markets through a partnership with Kanoodle. AIT customers will get an initial trial credit of $25 toward pay-per-click advertising, and the hosting company will add its Referral Director tracking tool as part of the package.

“Pay-per-click advertising on search engines is ideal for AIT’s small and medium sized businesses, the perfect mechanism for effectively getting their message out,” said Kirk deViere, AIT’s Chief Operations Officer. “Of course, the best part is you only pay for an ad when a potential client responds to it.”

Kanoodle’s KeywordTarget powers more than one-billion search results each month through a network of partner sites including Infospace, DogPile, CNET’s Search.com, MetaCrawler, and WebCrawler. Kanoodle’s ContextTarget™ network of content-targeted sponsored links appear on sites including CBS MarketWatch, and Quicken.com.

AIT’s Referral Director software complements the package so customers can see which keywords are most effective and which venues are bringing in the most traffic. “This is a version of the same tool we use in determining the efficiency of our ad dollars,” said AIT Chief Executive Officer Clarence Briggs. “Users can add and delete campaigns, and make changes along the way with respect to the cost-per-click that is allocated, the linking URL while also monitoring traffic stats.”

AIT’s partnership with Kanoodle follows AIT’s agreement with Pay Pal, moves aimed at making the Internet more accessible and profitable for small businesses. In addition, the company is focusing on a server firewall and monitoring product, an anti-spam tool, and continues with its semi-monthly quality control conferences for resellers. “We view this as a break out year for the industry in terms of innovation and differentiation,” said Briggs. “AIT’s aim is to provide our customers with tools that benefit their businesses, helping them utilize IT tools to cut costs and make more money.”

Founded in 1996 in North Carolina, AIT, Inc. provides web hosting and e-commerce services to more than 190,000 domains in 107 countries. AIT is recognized among the fastest growing technology companies in North America, and is the only hosting company listed on both the Inc 500 and Deloitte & Touche Fast 500.
