Web Hosting Provider Aplus.Net Plans Moves Headquarters
December 22, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Aplus.Net (http://www.aplus.net) is planning to move headquarters, it was announced this week. The company will move operations to Overland Park in Kansas City, Missouri, USA in February 2007.
“We’re committed to making Aplus.Net an even better place to work for our employees, while also preparing for an important and aggressive growth phase,” explained Aplus.Net CEO Gabriel Murphy. “San Diego has served Aplus.Net extremely well in its formative years, and we leave it reluctantly and only out of necessity. However, our ability to recruit and retain talented employees has been hampered by the extremely high cost of living here, and after much careful consideration, we’ve decided that the best means of addressing this issue is relocation.”
“We’d like to offer our employees the highest possible quality of life at an advantageous cost of living, and Overland Park offers all that and much more,” he added.
Aplus.Net’s Corporate Administration, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, Development, Marketing, Server and Domain Administration, and Dedicated Server Customer Care departments will be involved in the move while the company’s dedicated server data center will remain in San Diego, as will its Sales Team.
