TriCore Solutions (TriCore) have added the HP Cloud Backup Service Ready solution to its managed disaster recovery services. The company, which has headquarters in Norwell, Massachusetts, USA, has partners that include Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, IBM, HP and EMC. It has a presence across North America and in India.
TriCore prides itself on helping companies “unlock the business value from their IT investments”. It specializes in Oracle Managed Services, Oracle EBS Managed Services, database managed services, cloud services, business analytics, and business consulting and intelligence services. It has a customer base of around 250 enterprises. The addition of HP’s Cloud Backup solution will enable its customers to mitigate the risk of data loss.
TriCore's disaster recovery services offer a range of options including “backup, failover, standby, and remote mirroring ensuring”. These options guarantee the company’s customers can quickly return operations to normal and continue to function should disaster strike. The HP Cloud Backup Ready Service solution is underpinned by HP StoreOnce, a “deduplication solution providing disk-based backup for IT environments, from the smallest remote sites to the largest enterprises”. While the system reduces data loss risk it also reduces data protection costs, especially costs related to moving backup data around an organization in a de-duplicated form.
