AT&T Inc. Offers Web Hosting Services to Small- to Medium-sized Businesses

April 16, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – AT&T Inc. (http://www.att.com/gen/webhosting?pid=10229) is offering web hosting services to small- to medium-sized businesses, it was announced yesterday. The services include building new websites for companies or improving existing sites. In addition, AT&T will help businesses “sell products or services online, establish and online community, manage company email, distribute digital content, host a gaming server or run a host of business applications”.

AT&T Web Hosting offers Virtual Dedicated Server and Managed Dedicated Server products that match the needs of organizations that require more resources than those available through shared hosting. The company is offering “a variety of standard server plans for companies that run both Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms” and promises websites dedicated bandwidth. In addition, AT&T’s “design experts” provide copywriting services and manage “blog and forum integration, database development, search engine optimization and electronic shopping cart capabilities”.

"Our website design services give small businesses the features they need to get up and running quickly and start doing business right out of the gate," explained AT&T’s Senior Vice President of Regional Business Marketing, Roman Pacewicz.
