AT&T Provides Insurance Software Company Insuresoft with Web Hosting Services
July 3, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – AT&T is to provide insurance software company Insuresoft with web hosting services, it was announced yesterday. The company has been awarded a three-year contract by the property and casualty insurance industry provider, and will ensure Insuresoft maintains an “always on” presence for its customers. AT&T’s package will provide colocation services with “scalable bandwidth” as well as its BusinessDirect® Web portal and management tools, which provide “access to applications for convenient bill payment and network data analysis”.
“From the start, we needed a collaborative provider with the power and connectivity to ensure a top-notch experience for our customers,” explained Insuresoft’s Vice President of Product Management, Mr. Chris Blair. “AT&T has the complete set of solutions and capability to support Insuresoft’s operations and paves the way for our company to evolve applications to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.”
Although more immediately recognized as a telcom, AT&T offers a range of web hosting services including colocation services through its own datacenters. Other services include shared hosting, Virtual dedicated server, managed dedicated server, Enterprise Hosting services for mission critical applications, website design, and AT&T Remote – a dedicated backup service.
