February 6, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Managed Services Provider Attenda (http://www.attenda.net) has joined the Microsoft SaaS Incubation Center Program for ISVs, it was announced recently. According to the company, the program “is designed to bring Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and hosters together as ISVs move towards a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model”.
Microsoft’s program provides business and architectural consulting sessions to “ensure their (ISVs’) business model and applications are ready for the challenges of service-based delivery”. Microsoft chose Attenda based in its experience with Microsoft technologies and managed service delivery expertise. The company will open an Incubation Center in the United Kingdom and use the Microsoft Solution for Windows-based Hosting for Applications platform. This is, according to the company, “a robust, scalable infrastructure that equips ISVs with the tools and guidance to design service-enabled software applications and facilitate user provisioning, performance monitoring, usage tracking and reporting”.
