AWS Backup Solution CloudRanger Available on the AWS Marketplace
Amazon Web Services (AWS) backup solution CloudRanger has made its Server Management Platform available on the AWS Marketplace. CloudRanger, whose head offices are in Letterkenny, Donegal, Republic of Ireland, specializes in ‘cloud server management software for businesses, MSPs and enterprises”. It provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) automation and scheduling solution for AWS that allows users to schedule and automate backup processes.

CloudRanger enables users to save money by scheduling off peak backups. Of particular benefit to AWS customers, CloudRanger offers “multi-region backups” to maximize disaster recovery management. It will now be offered directly to AWS customers with “all services on one consolidated bill through AWS”.

Part of the Amazon Group of companies with head offices in Seattle, Washington, United States, AWS is a leader in global cloud activity. Its products and services include compute and storage options and Internet of Things (IoT), security and enterprise applications. CloudRanger is endorsed by Amazon Web Services to offer its platform on the AWS Marketplace it was thoroughly assessed by then cloud giant.

“Often, when implementing a new software product, clients not only have to import their settings, they likely have to work with their billing department to setup with a new vendor and gain approval from higher-ups. With AWS Marketplace SaaS Contracts, customers can simply add CloudRanger to their existing AWS subscription,” explained Chief Product Officer at CloudRanger, Dan Creviston. “This ultimately allows customers to get started using CloudRanger more quickly, increasing their organization’s data security, and with less organizational hurdles.”
