Amazon Web Services (AWS) cost management solutions provider
FittedCloud now includes anomaly detection with its services. FittedCloud, which has headquarters in Acton, Massachusetts, United States, was established in 2015. The company offers “predictive analytics capabilities” that isolate anomalous data patterns and alert AWS users about changes to their infrastructure resources.
While public clouds result in cost savings and improved ROI, managing costs is a challenge. In addition, poorly managed public cloud deployments can cost more than on premise solutions or colocation. FittedCloud Dynamic Cloud Optimization solutions enable users to cut costs by ensuring “resource provisioning matches application utilization”.
FittedCloud now has “sophisticated machine learning algorithms” that detect when cloud resource provisioning is not normal. Typically, FittedCloud alerts users of issues when “a higher than the usual number of EC2 resources are created, when EBS capacity is greater than normal, or when a greater than the standard amount of data is uploaded to S3 buckets”.
