Backup and Disaster Recovery Services Provider StorageCraft Chooses DCaaS Provider‎ NextDC for Cloud Services in Australia
Backup and disaster recovery services provider StorageCraft has chosen Data Center-as-a-Service (DCaaS) provider NextDC for cloud services in Australia. StorageCraft, which has headquarters in Draper, Utah, United States, offers a wide range of products and services including “data protection and migration solutions for physical, virtual, and hybrid Windows IT environments”. StorageCraft’s cloud services will be hosted in a NextDC data center while the company will “launch a purpose-built disaster recovery cloud in the first quarter of 2016”.

NEXTDC bills itself as offering a “range of highly flexible, resilient and secure colocation services to corporate, government and IT services companies”. The company has data centers in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra, Australia. Its products and services include Microsoft ExpressRoute connections for Azure and Office 365 cloud services, Rack space offerings, ID Access Cards (IDACs), and Quarter Racks.

“StorageCraft Cloud Services gives IT professionals’ peace of mind because it allows them to securely store backup images offsite in the StorageCraft cloud, and more importantly, Cloud Services allows users to run networked systems fully in the cloud when local access to systems and data is unavailable," explained StorageCraft’s Sydney-based operations General Manager Stan Nelson.
