One of San Diego's Oldest Web Hosting Companies Wins Times Square Ad
July 12, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) One of San Diego's oldest web hosting companies has won an ad in Times Square, it was announced yesterday. Basiclink.com (http://basiclink.com/) was given the ad for two days by Dell Computer's Small Business Division. The reward was part of an online contest asking small business owners to express why "your business deserves an ad in Times Square." The ad appears on an electronic billboard in Times Square.
BasicLink was established 11 years ago and founded by Daniel Seiden who submitted the slogan, We Believe in Real Web Hosting, Beyond Expectation alongside a graphic image specially designed for the contest. Scoring was based on 25% originality, 25% expression of theme, 25% clarity of statement and 25% quality of photo.
"The ad is testament to our creative team's ability to deliver world class graphics and copy for websites and even Times Square billboards," explained Director of Marketing, Mr. Bryant Seely. "We're a small business that helps small business succeed, so we are honored that Dell would recognize that talent".
