Big Blue Expands Partnership with Cloud-based Platform and Solutions Provider ServiceNow
IBM - traditionally known as ‘Big Blue’ - has expanded its partnership with cloud-based platform and solutions provider ServiceNow. ServiceNow, which has global headquarters in Santa Clara, California, United States, was established in 2004. The company’s offerings “deliver digital experiences that help people do their best work” and include enterprise cloud, custom app development, and platform and security services. Together IBM and ServiceNow enable companies to simplify the management of their IT resources across multiple cloud environments.

IBM has headquarters in Armonk, New York, United States. A globally recognized brand, IBM acquired Softlayer in 2012 as a springboard into the cloud arena. Its suite of cloud services include storage, compute, ‘Big Data’ and machine leaning solutions. Together the two companies will establish a “standardized approach for managing IT operations across multiple third-party cloud providers”. This will include IBM’s ‘Multicloud Manager’ which allows organizations to utilize Kubernetes applications across a number of cloud platforms.

"As a strategic digital transformation partner to leading companies around the world, ServiceNow delivers digital workflows that create great experiences and unlock productivity," explained ServiceNow’s Vice President and General Manager, IT Operations Management, Pablo Stern. "The combination of our world-class IT Service Management and IT Operations Management, with IBM's innovative solutions for hybrid cloud is transforming how people work."
