Web Hosting and Domain Name Provider Blacknight Solutions Reduces Domain Prices
February 16, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting and domain name provider Blacknight Solutions (http://www.blacknight.ie) has reduced the price of domain name registrations, the company announced this week. The company has reduced the price of all popular domain names for a limited period.
Blacknight, based in Ireland, will run its promotion from mid-February until mid-March. Registering a new .ie domain (Ireland) through Blacknight could cost around 35% of the price offered by some other providers. The company has also reduced prices on .eu and .co.uk domains.
"Being able to pass on cost savings is wonderful. Over the past 18 months we have invested heavily in hardware, software and network upgrades. We have given our clients more disk space and more bandwidth, while adding new technologies for them to take advantage of. Giving them a price break from time to time is an added bonus!" explained Michele Neylon, CEO of Blacknight.
Alongside its domain promotion, the company announced the introduction of Asp.Net AJAX (http://ajax.asp.net/) on their Windows Server 2003 hosting platform. Asp.Net AJAX is a development platform built on Asp.Net 2.0 that helps developers produce powerful cross-browser websites.
