As a member of the consortium, BLADE will promote the energy efficiency of today’s data centers through best practices for implementing “green” networking infrastructures. The Green Grid is a global consortium dedicated to advancing energy efficiency in data centers and business computing ecosystems. It seeks to provide industry-wide recommendations on best practices, metrics, standards and technologies that will improve overall energy efficiency in data centers and business computing ecosystems. Joining The Green Grid is part of BLADE’s initiative to deliver advanced data center networking with the industry’s lowest power and cooling requirements.
