Enhanced Multimedia Search Toolbar Through blinkx 3.5
| September 27, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - San Francisco company blinkx has announced the release of an upgraded version of its blinkx 3.5 search toolbar which unifies content search. The result of user feedback, the new design search toolbar offers usability and performance enhancements alongside additional support for multimedia formats, a dedicated Wikipedia channel (offering the online encyclopedia’s 737,000 entries), Lotus Notes password support and usability upgrades for desktop links and links from the Web and TV. The upgrade also improves support for media file formats such as MP3 and WMV, significantly enhancing the tool’s ability to access all desktop files.
