BLM Acquisition Corporation (BLM) has acquired hybrid cloud hosting services provider
Codero Hosting. BLM is a consortium that includes telecom and broadband providers. The consortium has acquired shares from Catalyst Investors (the "majority owner" of Codero Hosting) and other shareholders. While financial aspects of the deal have not been disclosed, it was announced that the acquisition included a "significant investment" by BLM. This investment will help Codero’s grow globally by developing and launching additional offerings designed to leverage its data center operations and its sales channel. Codero's president and CEO Emil Sayegh maintains his positions and will also become Chairman of the Board of Directors of the post-acquisition organization.
Codero, which has SSAE 16-compliant data centers in Dallas-Fort Worth, Phoenix, and Ashburn, Virginia, USA, offers a range of services including cloud and hybrid hosting infrastructure solutions alongside on-demand dedicated and managed offerings. The company prides itself on world-class technical support and "unparalleled customer service" that allows companies to outsource hosting requirements with confidence. It manages a successful loyalty program and a network of affiliates and resellers.
