Web Hosting and Domain Name Provider Bonphire Introduces 6-in-1 SSL Certificate
August 28, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting and domain name provider Bonphire (http://www.bonphire.com) has introduced a new 6-in-1 SSL certificate, the company announced today. The low cost certificate is designed to be a cost effective means of assuring web security.
Bonphire’s new offering provides “up to 256-bit encryption across as many as six top level domains” and is particularly useful for companies and individuals who have purchased each of the six variations of their domain name (“.com”, “.org”, etc.), although each domain name must point to the same web site.
Prior to Bonphire’s initiative companies were forced to purchase an SSL certificate for a single TLD. The company claims its new 6-in-1 SSL certificate can save businesses up to 54 percent of the cost of individual certificates.
