Brigitte Ricou-Bellan has joined digital education company
TES Global. The company, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, is a cloud-based business that aims to enhance education standards through offering “tailored digital services” to teachers worldwide. Ms. Ricou-Bellan is a former eBay executive and joins the company as its Managing Director, Digital.
TES Global services to teachers include teacher training and ‘Continuous Professional Development’ (CPD). It is a “global marketplace for resources created by teachers for teachers” with 1 million downloads of free teaching resources on a daily basis. In her new role at the company Ms. Ricou-Bellan will cater to 7.3 million teachers through the delivery of scalable digital services.
She has significant industry experience. Whilst at eBay she established StubHub International – “one of the world's largest ticket marketplaces” which allows fans to “buy and sell tens of thousands of tickets” through a range of devices including desktops, tablets, mobiles, and the company’s StubHub Music iOS app. Before joining eBay she spent 5 years at Dow Jones and she held executive positions at Prosodie (an Internet and cloud services start up where she was VP of Marketing), Netcom Consultants (where she was involved UK market consulting) and Vivendi/SFR Group (where she was Head of Operations). At TES Global she will be focusing on increasing the company’s activity in the United States.
