Web Hosting Provider Brinkster Selects Nominum's ANS Server |

September 21, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Brinkster has selected Nominum's ANS Server to provide “superior quality of service, reliability and performance” for its domain name customers, the company announced yesterday. Brinkster is utilizing Nominum's Foundation Authoritative Name Server (ANS) to facilitate real-time activation updates for customers and eliminate downtime.
Nominum ANS was designed for providers that require authoritative DNS, host large numbers of resource records, or support numerous DNS zones. "We currently manage more than seventy thousand domain names, and needed DNS technology that would allow us to seamlessly scale while providing superior performance for our customers," said Brinkster’s Chief Technology Officer Mr. Nat Kemberling.
