Lightower Fiber Networks (Lightower) has acquired Datacenter101 - one of Columbus, Ohio’s leading data centers. Lightower, which has headquarters in Boxborough, Massachusetts, United States, provides “custom, high-capacity network services” designed to provide “optimal application and business performance”. Lightower “offers connectivity to over 175 major data centers, 250 telco hotels and central officers, and over 40 financial exchanges” and offers a wide range of custom all-fiber solutions that address the IT requirements of business and government organizations. Datacenter101 is located in the heart of Columbus.
Designed with N+1 architecture, the 10,000-square-foot Datacenter101 facility offers a range of colocation services and has been designed with “redundancy, reliability, and scalability for small, medium and large businesses” in mind. It offers connectivity to a broad mix of providers and Lightower’s own all-fiber network. The facility utilizes environmentally-friendly colocation strategies and with more than 30,000 miles of fiber network in 17 US states, Lightower offers the “most dense all-fiber network and fiber-connected building count of any broadband service provider in the area”.
