The new features allow users to simultaneously perform a number of operations with one or more domain name. Depending on the current domain status, these operations include editing WHOIS information and DNS settings, registrar locking/unlocking, registering name servers and obtaining EPP authorization keys.
Budget Hosting 4 U’s domain manager provides simple operation through checkboxes that select domain names and a series of buttons that perform required actions. The system’s registrar-lock feature is useful in that it secures domain names and prevents them from being stolen. Locked domains are indicated by an icon of a lock shown though the interface.
Most of top domain registrars now require that each domain name has its own EPP key. The EPP Authorization Key is a code which is required when authorizing domain transfers. Obtaining an EPP key for a specific domain name registered through Budget Hosting 4 U’s manager is simply a matter of clicking on an EPP icon on the domain manager interface. |
