Business Management Software Provider Ubersmith Upgrades Modular Software Suite
Business management software provider Ubersmith has upgraded its modular software suite. Ubersmith, an INAP company, has headquarters in New York, United States. Its software solution manages a range of business functions including managing billing and quotes, order and infrastructure management, and help desk ticketing. The company has launched version 4.2 of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), cloud-based suite.

Version 4.2’s new features and integrations help users “better manage and extend their businesses”. They include the addition of customizable invoices with invoice templates and an HTML editor to enables users to modify invoice formats. 4.2 also offers a plug-in system that facilitates integration with other software programs. The plug-in allows businesses to use Ubersmith’s solution in conjunction with other related business software. Other enhancements include “an OnApp for vCenter integration, ‘Stripe Checkout’ payments, and enhanced value-added tax (VAT) support”. Stripe Checkout facilitates “greater compliance” with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

“Now, there is much greater flexibility for customers to tune our business management system for their specific business requirements – such as the design and appearance of invoices, as well as integrating additional functions,” explained Ubersmith’s President, Kurt Daniel. “With increased adoption of subscription billing models that are core to their businesses, our customers need the capability to easily extend the Ubersmith suite with other programs that complement ours and provide additional functionality.”
