Web Hosting Providers Survey Predicts Great Year Ahead |
 |
January 25, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH) According to the 100,000 small and medium sized businesses involved in a survey carried out by web hosting provider C I Host, 2006 is likely to be a great year!
"We have found a tremendous optimism among the small and medium sized businesses that we surveyed," said Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "They are looking forward to a great year, planning to expand their work force and marketing, and building on a great online Holiday season."
A significant number of businesses involved in C I Host's survey suggested they had experienced revenues and customer gains during the winter holiday shopping season as a result of their online presence. "We are seeing reflected in our customers what the overall numbers told us," Faulkner said. "Holiday online shopping was nearly 25 percent higher in 2005 than 2004. Bricks and mortar stores didn't even come close to that increase. More than $25 billion was spent online from Oct. 29 to Dec. 25." The majority of survey respondents also suggested increases in capital expenditures for IT and non-IT related services during 2006. |
