December 4, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider C I Host has expanded its core Data Center, the company announced recently. The 8,000-square-foot expansion is a response to “rapid growth”, the company suggested.
According to C I Host this is the 9th expansion of its core facility, which is located in Bedford, Texas, USA. The center can accommodate one more expansion phase before being fully utilized. "We are already working on our second facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth area," suggested Mr. Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "It will be online and operational within 12 months to allow us to continue to expand."
C I Host’s growth has required the addition of 600 new dedicated servers to accommodate more than 4,000 new shared hosting accounts a month. This is in addition to opening 50 colocation agreements per month.
"Our lack of long-term debt, our early creation of a robust, transparent reseller program and our decision from the get-go to run a customer-centered company as helped us get where we are today," Mr. Faulkner added, "There are also the guiding principles that will carry us into the future."
C I Host currently hosts around 330,000 domains in 190 countries worldwide. The company is an ICANN registered domain name registrar and has passed SAS 70 Type I & II audits.
