Web Hosting Provider C I Host Celebrates 10 Years in Hosting
April 30, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting provider C I Host (http://www.cihost.com) is celebrating 10 years in the web hosting industry, it was reported recently. According to the company, it is has reached this milestone with a solid financial foundation and an unparalleled level of customer loyalty.
"We are extremely happy to be at this juncture in the growth of our company," explained C I Host CEO, Mr. Christopher Faulkner. "The combination of a solid financial footing and a supportive customer base bodes well for our future."
C I Host gained around 60,000 new customers in 2006 and its revenues increased by in excess of 20 percent. In addition, the companys profits increased more than 25%. During the period, the company expanded its Dallas-Fort Worth data center (the ninth expansion in ten years) and also purchased a new 65,000 square-foot Tier-2 data center. None of the companys activities were funded by venture capital, bank loans or outside investments.
Part of the companys success has been its ability to keep ahead of the technological curve. C I Host launched its "4x4 Hosting" product line, introducing a unique approach where content is hosted on four unique servers in four different data centers - Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and New York. Traffic can be instantaneously switched to any of the four centers should a server experience difficulty.
"We have been extremely fortunate to be able to play a major role in driving the direction of eCommerce and in keeping the Internet robust, safe and accessible for millions of people over the past ten years," added Mr.Faulkner. "To have been part of this crucial stage of wired and wireless economic development has been an incredible opportunity."
C I Host currently employs 224 men and women. "Where we are today, on our tenth anniversary, is due to the tremendous dedication and skill of our employees," concluded Faulkner. "We operate as a family and that is what makes all the difference."
