Web Host C I Host Announces New Texas Datacenter Facility Scheduled to Open in 2009
November 10, 2008 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web host C I Host has announced their commitment to open a new datacenter facility in Texas, USA, scheduled to open in 2009, it was announced recently. According to the company, their new facility, which will be located in the Dallas Love Field Corridor, 6 miles from downtown Dallas, maximizes best practices from the company's 11 years in business and its new facilities expand the company's capabilities while consolidating operations to more efficiently serve customers worldwide. The 60,000 square foot facility opens in February, and offers diverse electrical feeds and fiber entrances.
"CI Host is a pioneer in the web hosting industry and we have the opportunity to use more than a decade of experiences to build a customer's ideal datacenter from the ground up - and then deliver it to them," explained CI Host Executive Director of Business Development, Mr. Erin Bullock.
"We're using the new facilities as a blank slate opportunity to provide the kind of technology and service our customers demand," added C I Hosts Chief Network Architect, Mr. Nicholas Giancola. CI Hosts center will feature a 1.5-megawatt power transformer and 750-kilowatt transformer designed to manage electrical loads while an on-site generator with Automatic Transfer Switches will help ensure consistent power availability.
