CleverHost has launched a new website. CleverHost, which has headquarters in London, Ontario, Canada, offers a range of services including “unlimited” web hosting, managed servers, domain registration, email hosting, SSL certificates and SiteLock website protection services. The company aims to make web hosting “easy for professionals and small businesses” and its new site offers an entirely revamped design with enhanced navigation and “small file sizes”
The website upgrade is intended to improve the visitor experience and is also in readiness for new services CleverHost will be launching in the near future. CleverHost’s website was originally built on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) platform. As part of the website’s upgrade the company has put its blog and news area into a separate subdomain. While the sections in this subdomain still utilize WordPress, the new site does not. Separating the site in this way gives CleverHost the flexibility to publish news and update its blog easily while being able to secure the new website more easily. The company also announced it would migrate to “a new account management system that will make payments easier for new and existing clients”.
“We recognized a need to make our website easier to browse, a better way to highlight what makes CleverHost special, and ensuring greater flexibility going forward. Our new website does all, and more,” explained CleverHost’s owner, Derek Silva. “When customers know they can find the information they need, it benefits everyone involved.”
