Carrier-neutral Data Center Operator Open Data Centers Teams Up with Managed Services Provider CoreITX
Carrier-neutral data center operator Open Data Centers has teamed up with managed services provider CoreITX. The companies will offer a range of cloud services and dedicated servers together.

Open Data Centers operates data centers in New Jersey and New York City, while CoreITX offers IT services, consulting, and outsourcing solutions with a focus on big data and cloud computing. Under the brand ComputeStax the companies' cloud offerings will offer a scalable infrastructure that enables users to create and manage cloud systems.

As cloud-based services continue to enjoy substantial adoption, especially in areas such as financial services and health care, the two companies will establish tools that allow IT managers to efficiently build infrastructures and scale them as required. In addition, Core will provide services through its EZZI.net dedicated server arm which will utilize Open Data Centers’ Piscataway, New Jersey facility.

“In offering these services, Core and ODC offer our customers new ways to maximize their use of our ecosystem,” explained the CEO of Open Data Centers, Erik Levitt. “Our clients can now colocate the highly specialized systems core to their application strategy, use dedicated servers to deploy more lightly used assets, and round out their infrastructure with virtual servers in our public or private cloud with billing options down to the hour.”
