Carrier-neutral Data Center Services Company Datacenter.com Announces Launch of ‘Start Direct Cabinets’ Options
December 7, 2017
Carrier-neutral data center services company Datacenter.com has announced the launch of ‘Start Direct Cabinets’ options. With headquarters on Cyprus, Datacenter.com’s “state-of-the-art data center infrastructure” allows the company to offer world-class colocation services from AMS1 – an ISO 14001:2015-accredited facility in Amsterdam, Netherlands that opened last week and runs on 100% renewable energy. Datacenter.com’s ‘Start Direct Cabinets’ options facilitate an “on-demand colocation services model for hybrid cloud environments”.
‘Start Direct Cabinets’ offers truly ‘pay-as-you-go’ colocation available on a monthly basis (30-day contract terms) that does not require minimum term payments. The company’s “flexible connectivity contracts” enable customers to “easily adjust to changing networking requirements and public cloud platform access” including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud. The option is of particular benefit to Cloud Services Providers (CSPs), Enterprises, Managed Services Providers (MSPs), Systems Integrators (SIs), and Internet Services Providers (ISPs).
“As our colocation business is founded by some industry veterans, we are aware that long-term colocation data center contracts are no longer convenient,” explained Datacenter.com’s CEO, Jochem Steman. “With the launch of Start Direct Cabinets, Datacenter.com is responding to these cloud-like flexibility requirements. Next to our ultra energy efficient and highly modular thus scalable data center infrastructure, the introduction of Start Direct Cabinets is yet another example reflecting Datacenter.com’s innovative approach to deploying enterprise-grade colocation services.”
