Mr. Oliver Mauss, who took the company’s CEO position in May, will take part in a panel discussion on APS and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) entitled “Taking Advantage of SaaS with the Application Packaging Standard” on Tuesday, July 29, 2008.
1&1, which bills itself as “the world's largest web host”, is an active proponent of APS and SaaS technologies and “helped Parallels design APS requirements for hosting providers”. The company is “the first service provider to implement support for the APS standard in the Click-n-Build web hosting platform”.
