Web Hosting to Follow Asian Outsourcing of Manufacturing, Customer Support and Programming Jobs

March 22, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Recently, much has been made of the lack of interest in engineering among American students and the increase in Asian engineers following the move by many American companies to send manufacturing overseas in the IT industry. Speculation has it that Asian companies will soon undercut these American companies and America will be unable to respond due to a lack of qualified engineers.

Now, Forrester Research has recently published an article detailing the increase in Indian web hosting facilities following the increasing trend to outsource customer support and many programming jobs to India.

If the Chinese and Japanese are manufacturing the chips and the Indians are writing the software and supporting it doesn’t take much long range thinking to understand how America is in danger of losing it’s edge competitively in technology and certainly economically speaking.

Maybe the US can trade Taiwan to the Chinese now in exchange for a promise to be nice to Americans later when they are running the world.
