Clearswift Announces SpamLogic

22 September, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - California-based Clearswift announced the introduction of SpamLogic yesterday, an anti-spam solution that the company claims blocks spam with more than 99% accuracy. Integrated into the company’s MIMEsweeper for SMTP and MIMEsweeper SMTP Appliance, SpamLogic uses a battery of defenses including ‘Bayesian Analysis’ and ‘textual analysis’ to screen email based on source, content and destination. "SpamLogic is a finely tuned solution based on thousands of hours of testing of real-world e-mail traffic from dozens of large organizations," said Alyn Hockey, technical director at Clearswift. "Fighting spam has always been a critical piece of our content filtering solutions." Existing customers MIMEsweeper for SMTP using versions 4.3, 5.0 and 5.1 will receive SpamLogic free update.
