Cloud and ‘Big Data’ integration solutions provider
Talend has opened a new office in India. Talend, which has headquarters in Redwood City, California, United States, was established in 2005. The company caters to around 1,500 customers worldwide including big names like GE and Lenovo. It offers an “open, adaptive, and unified integration platform” that enables companies to leverage key technology innovations and scale the services they use based on increasing business demands. Talend’s new Indian office is in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
India is one of the fastest-growing economies globally and many Indian companies are revising their IT options and committing to digitalization. Talend’s move is intended to better address increased interest for its products and services within the region. The new office is home to the company’s sales representatives and its ‘Customer Success’ staff who will support and train Talend customers in surrounding regions. The number of consultants Talend will training in 2017 will be 300% more than 2016 totals.
“I’m excited by our new presence in India, which I view as an important part of our overall global business strategy,” explained the CEO of Talend, Mike Tuchen. “Talend’s new office in Bangalore puts us closer to the development teams of many of our largest customers. It will also be tremendously helpful as we continue to deepen and expand our relationships with large SI partners like Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant and Wipro that all have a significant presence in India.”
