Cloud and Colocation Services Provider Hub Network Services (HNS) Selects Data Center Provider Next Generation
Cloud and colocation services provider Hub Network Services (HNS) has selected data center provider Next Generation as its partner. The company will acquire multiple racks at HNS’s 750,000 square foot NGD Europe data center, which is located in Newport in Southern Wales, UK. The center is powered by100% renewable energy and recognized as being one of the largest in Europe, with a total capacity to cater for around 19,000 server racks, which can be moved into data halls to establish independent services and resources.

HNS has made its move to “increase resilience” and to cater for a growing need for its services. The company already has a “data center presence” at its facilities in Bristol, London and Manchester, United Kingdom. The company offers IT options that include collocation and business connectivity alongside “office internet solutions”, cloud servers and cloud storage. The news of its decision comes in the wake of announcements that AirVM and Tech Data company Azlan had chosen Next Generation to cater for their cloud-based options.

“By partnering with NGD and using their tier 3-plus facility, not only are we adding even further geographical diversity and network redundancy to our highly-resilient cloud and colocation services, we are also gaining the benefit of NGD’s unprecedented space and power for future-proofing our rack requirements as we grow,” HNS’ Technical Director John Volanthen told online news source WalesOnline.
