NTT Com Managed Services has acquired cloud system Managed Services Provider (MSP) CAPSiDE. The company has headquarters in Barcelona, Spain and is a subsidiary of Tokyo, Japan-based NTT Communications Corporation, a global Information Technology (IT) and services company with a presence in more than 178 countries. The acquisition will enable Capside to offer data center and global communications services as part of its portfolio.
Established in 2001, Capside has headquarters in Barcelona, Spain and a presence in Madrid, Spain, and London, United Kingdom. It is a “Top 100 Public Cloud” company that supports Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). It designs, automates and operates reliable and highly efficient critical cloud architectures. Capside also offers ‘Big Data’ and SaaS services, and designs “cloud-management tools on asteroids for SysOps and DevOps processes in Cloud environments”. Its clients include heavyweights like McCann Erickson, Barcelona Football and IKEA. Financial aspects of the acquisition have yet to be released.
