Host1Plus has partnered with Bitcoin payments provider Coinzone. The London-based company, whose services include shared hosting, Linux/Windows cloud hosting, VPS hosting, reseller hosting, and dedicated server options alongside domain name registration and SSL certificates provision, has a presence in Kaunas, Lithuania and in Frankfurt, Germany.
Host1Plus’ move comes as the culmination of “long and thoughtful preparation and discussion” between the two organizations aimed at improving the “buying experience” of Host1Plus’ customers by facilitating Bitcoin payment for services. Bitcoin payments are becoming increasingly popular with increasing numbers of providers offering “crytocurrency” payment. These providers include WordPress.com, Overstock.com, Amazon, Subway, and Namecheap to name but a few.
With headquarters in the Netherlands, Coinzone aims to provide a user experience that “eliminates geographic boundaries and complexities of payments”. Bitcoin payments enable Host1Plus’ customers to “avoid credit card payments and cross-border fees”.
Coinzone’s services offer an accessible API that allows customers to easily integrate the solution with their own interfaces. Coinzone also facilitates risk-free Bitcoin payments for customers via a payment interface which is written in 11 languages. The company has also integrated Bitcoin payment with shopping cart solutions such as Magento and Prestashop and provides Android and iOS “mobile Point-of-Sale” apps.
