Cloud-based Security and Business Intelligence Company Eagle Eye Networks Launches Tokyo Data Center
Cloud-based security company Eagle Eye Networks (Eagle Eye) has announced the launch of a new Tokyo, Japan-based data center. The company, which specializes in a 100% cloud managed “on-demand cloud based security and business intelligence video management system (VMS)” has headquarters in Austin, Texas, USA. Its recording solutions are available both in the cloud and at its customers’ premises. Its customers “can now store their video exclusively in Japan”.

The Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera Video Management System now has a Japanese-language user interface and “supports a broad array of IP and analog cameras” meaning it can be deployed either at only one or a number of sites. The system offers “unrivaled security and encryption” with remote access through smartphones and tablets. The company’s new center is a Tier IV data center with an infrastructure “specifically designed for video”. It is the fourth in the company’s network of data centers, with others in Austin, Texas and Santa Clara, California, USA, and Montréal, Canada.

“The Japan data center is our fourth data center worldwide. It’s important that video and security data be stored within the country for many regions,” explained the president and CEO of Eagle Eye Networks, Dean Drako. “Further, our Japanese user interface development shows our strong commitment to serving our customers in Japan.”
