Cloud Business Intelligence Company Domo Adds Niall Browne to Executive Team
Cloud business intelligence company Domo has added Niall Browne to its executive team. Domo, which has headquarters in American Fork, Utah, United States, specializes in cloud-based business intelligence tools and data visualization. Established in 2010, the company is still recognized as a startup. Mr. Browne joins the company as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Mr. Browne is an 18-year global information security and risk management veteran with particular focus on financial institutions. He was formerly Chief Trust Officer at Workday, Inc., a Pleasanton, California-based on-demand financial management and human capital management software vendor. He has a BA in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the University of Limerick and a number of security certifications. He also has a patent for an adaptive security zone management system. At Domo he will be in charge of the company’s security program.

"Security is a key business enabler and we’ve always had a strong security posture in our platform and protocols," explained Josh James, the CEO and founder of Domo in an email interview with CSO. "As we continue to expand our presence among the Fortune 1000, the addition of a CISO will ensure our security and trust programs keep us at the forefront of security in the cloud. The addition of a CISO allows us to engage in more meaningful conversations with CIOs and IT leaders on leveraging Domo as the central platform from which data access can be securely managed and governed across the enterprise."
