Cloud Company Citrix Brings 50 New Jobs to Ireland
Cloud company Citrix will bring 50 new jobs to its Dublin facilities in Ireland. The new jobs are a result of "unprecedented customer demand" for Citrix goods and services alongside support from Ireland's Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation. The news mirrors the company's announcements of 50 new jobs in August 2011. Citrix is currently looking for candidates to fill Sales, Engineering, HRIS Analysis, SAP Basis Administrator, Technical Relationship Manager, Technical Support Engineer and Technical Support Management positions.

Citrix solutions are designed to help IT and service providers build clouds and leverage virtualization and networking technologies to establish cloud services. The company's products are used by around 100 million people in 260,000 organizations worldwide. The company's 2012 revenue was $2.59 billion.

The announcement that the company was bringing more jobs to Dublin was welcomed by Richard Bruton, an Irish Fine Gael politician who is Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, and who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin North–Central constituency since 1982. “ICT is a key sector targeted in the Government’s plans for jobs and growth, and we have seen a substantial increase in employment in this area in the past two years," explained Mr. Bruton. "Today’s announcement that Citrix, a dynamic and innovative company operating in a high-growth area, is creating a further 50 jobs in Dublin is very welcome and provides a further indication of what is possible in this sector. I am determined to help sustain and accelerate the progress we have made in this area to help create the jobs we need".

“One of the key ingredients for on-going success and growth is the availability of the right skills and talent," added Citrix's Vice President, Worldwide Infrastructure and Operations, Martin Kelly. "These job openings exist now, we are hiring immediately and want to hear from talented sales and technology professionals. Customers are embracing cloud services and mobile work styles to create agile, cost effective, new ways of working. As such, all divisions of Citrix continue to experience significant growth across Europe, including the Citrix technical support and education business."
