Hostway Services, Inc. (Hostway) has acquired Canadian hosting provider MyHosting.com. Hostway, which has headquarters in Austin, Texas, United States, was established in 1998. The company bills itself as “the world’s most trusted managed compliant hosting provider” and offers “managed cloud infrastructure and application hosting solutions” for companies globally. It operates in North America, Europe, and Asia and its services extend to web hosting, email hosting, private cloud, managed cloud and hybrid cloud options made available through SSAE 16 and ISO 27001-comliant data centers. Hostway acquired MyHosting.com from technology and supply chain services Ingram Micro Inc. (Ingram Micro).
MyHosting.com, which has headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, offers a range of hosting and related services. These extend to hybrid and multi-cloud hosting solutions, Linux and Windows web hosting and Virtual Private Server (VPS) options, reseller hosting, email hosting, and domain name registration services. The company also offers Office 365 packages. By acquiring MyHosting.com Hostway strengthens its relationship with Ingram Micro and enhances its automation capabilities through Ingram Micro’s CloudBlue Automation platforms. Hostway also acquired Mail2Web lines as part of the same deal. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.
