Cloud Computing Memory Solutions Company Netlist Appoints Noel Whitley as Vice President of Intellectual Property
Cloud computing memory solutions company Netlist has appointed Noel Whitley as Vice President of Intellectual Property. Established in 2000, Irvine, California-based Netlist provides high-speed, high-capacity memory options and caters to a broad customer base that includes original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and other customers that produce options such as blade servers and computing clusters.

Mr. Whitley has been appointed to a position that Netlist has recently created. He will be in charge of maximizing Netlist's patent portfolio. An industry veteran, he brings in excess of 15 years intellectual property experience to the company. Initially he was an attorney specializing in intellectual property and patents. Other previous positions have included Vice President Intellectual Property for Broadcom Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of Ladera Consulting, Inc. where he was involved in providing legal and business advice and monetizing and enforcing intellectual property and patents. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law, and he has a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
