Salesforce has formed an alliance with Apple. Established in 1991, Salesforce provides the ultimate ‘Customer Success Platform’ which is available through any device. With headquarters in San Francisco, California, United States, the company was established in 1999 and represents one of the pioneers in the realm of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Together Salesforce and Apple will redefine the Salesforce Mobile App with exclusive new features for iOS – the Apple mobile phone operating system.
Salesforce is working with Apple to redesign its app, providing it with a range of unique features. The redesigned Salesforce Mobile App will leverage features like “Face ID, Siri Shortcuts, 3D Touch and more”. However, the strategic partnership will also facilitate new mobile apps for business. The two companies will enable Salesforce developers to “build their own native apps with a new Salesforce Mobile SDK for iOS” by offering a new iOS app development course on Salesforce’s Trailhead learning platform.
“With this partnership, we’re bringing together the world’s number one CRM platform with iPhone and iPad, the world’s best devices for business,” explained Salesforce’s chairman and co-CEO, Marc Benioff. “Together, Salesforce and Apple are defining a new era of mobile innovation with native apps on iOS, and empowering millions of people with access to Trailhead and the skills they need for the jobs of the future.”
