Cloud Hosting and Colocation Services Provider Green House Data Buys Infrastructure Provider FiberCloud
Cloud hosting and colocation services provider Green House Data has bought infrastructure provider FiberCloud. The company, whose services also include Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) and cloud storage, has headquarters in Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA alongside offices in Denver, Colorado, Orangeburg, New York, and Seattle, Washington. The SSAE 16 Type II and HIPAA compliant company has green data centers across the United States and is a certified VMware provider.

Seattle-based FiberCloud was established in 2001 and has three data centers in Washington and a "robust portfolio of hosted products". Green House Data's purchase of FiberCloud will enable the company to offer a wider range of products and services in more areas. A subsidiary of Whidbey Telecom, FiberCloud will split from the company as a result of Green House Data's acquisition.

“From a technology perspective, colocation space in the Westin Building Exchange is ideal,” explained Green House Data's Chief Technology Officer, Cortney Thompson. “With over 250 carriers, service, and content providers and over 39,000 cross connects, this is the premier facility in Seattle. Paired with Green House Data’s nationwide cloud, customers will have unparalleled access to infrastructure resources for their critical workloads.”
