The Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program enables companies own the entire sales and support process when providing Microsoft solutions. The program enables members to “combine high-margin service offerings with Microsoft cloud products” and allows them to bill customers directly and provide their own support services. Fpweb.net’s membership allows the company to offer and manage SharePoint on Azure, SQL on Azure and Office 365.
While traditionally noted for a direct sales approach, Microsoft has recently changed direction and refers first-time Azure buyers to its Cloud Solution Provider Program partners. This has allowed Microsoft to streamline the licensing process. As a program partner, Fpweb.net conducts needs analysis that determines which Azure services customers should adopt. Its experts then “architect, design, plan, implement, migrate, operate, and optimize hybrid configurations that include on-premises, Microsoft Azure cloud, and Fpweb.net's private cloud”.
