Market.Space Inc. (Market.space) has partnered with information security company Web Shield. Market.space, which was established in 2014, specializes in media monitoring, intelligence tracking, and data visualization. The company has blockchain-based development expertise and bills itself as a “next-generation cloud hosting company” that offers a “decentralized data storage platform” which allows users to “securely transact with hosting providers at lower prices”. It connects consumers with the cloud hosting services they require and aims to offer “the cheapest cloud infrastructure deals on the web”. Market.space’s partnership with Web Shield will strengthen its cybersecurity and risk management services capability.
Web Shield, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, was established in 2010. The company provides information security services and specializes in areas such as KYC due diligence services, risk management and threat prevention. It became a ‘MasterCard Merchant Monitoring Service Provider’ in 2015. By implementing Web Shield’s risk intelligence technology and customer due diligence services to its platform, Market.Space will “enhance its capabilities and secure the decentralized infrastructure in advance of the token sale” – an ICO planned for today - March 26, 2018.
