Zoom has experienced substantial customer growth in 2014. The Santa Clara, California-based company reached over 30,000 business customers during the period, with customers located in many locations around the world. The announcement coincides with the company's launch of the latest version its Zoom solution, V3.5. The new version offers a range of additional features to Zoom's Cloud Meeting, Video Webinar, and ZoomPresence options, and it is available to existing customers without additional cost.
V3.5's new features include the ability to record meetings that take place using desktops, tablets and other mobile devices directly to the cloud using Zoom Cloud Meetings. The new version also allows Zoom Cloud Meetings users to screen share full-screen HD video clips. The latest iteration of Zoom Video Webinar allows users to poll attendees, while amongst other features, ZoomPresence now allows one-click screen share over the share.zoom.us cloud.
