VPSServer) is forecasting growth for its products and services in 2017. VPSServer, which has headquarters in New York, United States, was only established in 2015. A ‘Global Cloud Infrastructure’ company, it specializes in providing Virtual Private Server (VPS) options which “can be scaled to accurately meet the specific needs of the customer” and start at only $5 per month.
VPSServer draws on its parent body’s 15 years of cloud computing industry experience and leverages a global network of data centers offering “high-end processors, and fully equipped SSD storage”. Its 2017 forecast is based on industry projections that suggest “massive growth” in the coming years. The company has also secured a round of investment to address this growth.
Global Cloud Infrastructure’s VPSServer brand leverages a data center in Miami, Florida, United States that provides a “sort of hub to the Americas and beyond”. The location of the data center is ideal to address “growing demands of multiple markets”. Being close to its customers, the center offers a high degree of latency. In January 2017 VPSServer extended its network to data centers in seven locations the United States and Europe, further extending its footprint.
“Three-way storage replication is enabled on our cloud hosting platform, which means that our virtual private servers are stored on three different servers at the same time,” explained VPSServer’s CEO, Robert Bolder. “This is much safer than the approach taken by most of our competitors, who work with a single RAID system stored on just one hosting server.”
“Recently, we conducted some benchmark testing and saw amazing results,” added VPSServer’s CTO, Erik Jan Visscher. “To test the server performance, we are using an independent benchmark tool called Serverscope.io. With our high-end processors and fully equipped SSD storage, our VPS’s are outperforming all of our competition.”
