Cloud Services platform provider
Interoute has announced it is leveraging hybrid object storage solutions provider Cloudian for its cloud storage services. Interoute, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, operates a global cloud services platform and has “one of Europe's largest networks”. The company caters to a range of customers including international businesses, governments, universities and international service providers. Its services include cloud, managed hosting, colocation and IaaS options. The company has launched a “cloud-based storage service based on Cloudian’s HyperStore object storage technology”.
Cloudian, which has headquarters in San Mateo, California, United States, was established in 2011. The company is recognized as a leader in hybrid object storage solutions. It provides business and service providers with “reliable, affordable, and scalable Amazon S3-compatible storage”. Interoute chose Cloudian’s HyperStore based on its scalability and S3 API compatibility. The Cloudian is available through Interoute 17 global Virtual Data Centre zones.
